Vacation - Part 1

We took a mini-vacation last week.  It ended up being spontaneous because we weren't sure if we were actually going to go.  Last minute, hubby decided to make the trip and booked a hotel in Atlanta - the first stop on our mini-vaca.

We woke up really, really early and drove to Atlanta to get to the Georgia Aquarium when it opened.  The dolphin show was the highlight of our time there, but watching Chloe in the 4-D theater gave me lots of giggles too.  Mama may have even gotten crazy and touched a sting ray (now you know where Chloe gets her scaredy-cat tendencies from).  Yates was mesmerized by all the fish - especially the big ones and the albino alligator, but Chloe's favorite by far were the beluga whales.  She loved how they danced and tried to twirl with them.  On second thought, maybe that was the highlight of the day.

We spent that night in downtown Atlanta.  The kids thought staying in a hotel meant it was party-time and stayed up way past their bedtime. We ordered room service, ate dinner in our room and watched movies.

The next morning we got up and drove to Panama City Beach, FL, where we spent the rest of our mini-vacation with family.
