Life Lessons from a Two Year Old
This morning at breakfast in a hurry I was telling Chloe about our busy day ahead. First we were going to church for Vacation Bible School, then we had to eat a quick lunch and spend the afternoon with Daddy so Mommy could do a presentation at a conference, and then we were going to eat dinner with Granny and Papa.
Her response to me was, "No, I'm going to finish my pop-tart."
And just like that I realized, you are right my little two-year-old - you are so incredibly right. First things first, one step at a time. Right now you are going to finish your pop-tart, then the rest of the day will come in time.
Enjoy the moment that you are in.
And sometimes that moment means finishing a pop-tart for breakfast.
